【摘要】:Thispracticeoutlinesamethodforthedeterminationofbromineandchlorine,aloneortogether.CIIRandBIIRrubberscontainsmallamountsofchlorineandbromineandCRrubberscontainlargeamountsofchlorine.Forqualitycontrolandresearchanddevelopment,itissometimesnecessarytodeterminetheamountofthesehalogensinrubber.Thispracticecanbeusedforthesepurposes.1.1Thispracticecoversthedeterminationofbromineandchlorineinrubber.1.2ThisprocedureisapplicabletoraworcuredNR,SBR,BR,IR,IIR,CIIR,BIIR,andEPDMrubbersandblendsofthese.1.3Iodineinterferes,butsubstancessuchasZn2+,S,CNx2212;,and(CO3)2x2212;donot.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificsafetyprecautionsaregiveninSection7.
