【摘要】:1.1ThispartofISO899specifiesamethodfordeterminingthetensilecreepofplasticsintheformofstandardtestspecimensunderspecifiedconditionssuchasthoseofpretreatment,temperatureandhumidity.1.2Themethodissuitableforusewithrigidandsemi-rigidnon-reinforced,filledandfibre-reinforcedplasticsmaterials(seeISO472fordefinitions)intheformofdumb-bell-shapedtestspecimensmouldeddirectlyormachinedfromsheetsormouldedarticles.1.3Themethodisintendedtoprovidedataforengineering-designandresearchanddevelopmentpurposes.Dataforengineering-designpurposesrequirestheuseofextensometerstomeasurethegaugelengthofthespecimen.Dataforresearchorquality-controlpurposesmayusethechangeindistancebetweenthegrips(nominalextension).1.4Tensilecreepmayvarysignificantlywithdifferencesinspecimenpreparationanddimensionsandinthetestenvironment.Thethermalhistoryofthetestspecimencanalsohaveprofoundeffectsonitscreepbehaviour(seeAnnexA).Consequently,whenprecisecomparativeresultsarerequired,thesefactorsmustbecarefullycontrolled.1.5Iftensile-creeppropertiesaretobeusedforengineering-designpurposes,theplasticsmaterialsshouldbetestedoverabroadrangeofstresses,timesandenvironmentalconditions.
