【摘要】:ThetestforleadisnecessarybecauseitisatoxicantandbecausethereisalimitspecifiedforleadinpotablewaterintheNationalInterimPrimaryDrinkingWaterRegulations.Thistestservestodeterminewhethertheleadcontentofpotablewaterisaboveorbelowtheacceptablelimit.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationofdissolvedandtotalrecoverableleadinwaterandwastewaterbyatomic-absorptionspectrophotometryanddifferentialpulseanodicstrippingvoltammetry.Fourtestmethodsareincludedasfollows:ConcentrationRangeSectionsTestMethodA-AtomicAbsorption,Direct1.0to10mg/L7to15TestMethodB-AtomicAbsorption,Chelation-Extraction100to1000956;g/L16to24TestMethodC-DifferentialPulseAnodicStrippingVoltammetry1to100956;g/L25to35TestMethodD-AtomicAbsorption,GraphiteFurnace5to100956;g/L36to441.2TestMethodBcanbeusedtodetermineleadinbrines.TestMethodDhasbeenusedsuccessfullywithreagentwater,lakewater,wellwater,filteredtapwater,condensatefromamediumBtucoalgasificationprocess,wastetreatmentplanteffluent,andaproductionplantprocesswater.1.3Itistheuser'sresponsibilitytoensurethevalidityofthesetestmethodsforwatersofuntestedmatrices.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardsstatements,see10.4.1,Note2,11.2,11.3,21.7,21.8,21.11,23.7,23.10,32.2.1,and33.1.
