【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusefulfordistinguishingbetweenoilsthatareadaptabletovarioustypesofsprayingapplication,withahigherunsulfonatedoilbeingrequiredforleafsprayingascomparedtodormantvegetationapplication.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofunsulfonatedresidueinplantsprayoilsofpetroleumoriginandappliesonlytothepetroleumoilcontent.Itprovidesameasureofthedegreeofrefinementofplantsprayoilsbydeterminingtheextenttowhichtheoilisattackedby98.61%sulfuricacidundercloselystandardizedconditions.Sincetherelationshipbetweenunsulfonatedresidueandtheactualcompositionoftheoilisnotknown,thistestmethodshouldbeappliedonlyformeasuringthedegreeofrefinementandnotforthedeterminationofaromaticsorolefins,orboth.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
